Job Description

The Ritz-Carlton Dallas Las Colinas is a prestigious luxury hotel located in Irving, Texas. Renowned for its exceptional service, sophisticated ambiance, and world-class amenities, The Ritz-Carlton brand stands as a symbol of elegance and quality within the hospitality industry. Situated at 4150 N MacArthur Blvd, this particular location offers guests a refined experience with its upscale accommodations, exquisite dining options, and outstanding event spaces. The hotel attracts travelers and corporate clients who expect unmatched customer service and attention to detail. Being a part of The Ritz-Carlton means upholding the highest standards in hospitality and delivering memorable experiences to every guest.

This full-time, non-management position is essential to the successful execution of banquet events and group functions at The Ritz-Carlton Dallas Las Colinas. The role focuses on ensuring smooth coordination between the banquet team and guests, facilitating excellent communication, and confirming that all event setups meet the required standards. As a Meet Group Coordinator or Host(ess), the individual is responsible for reviewing banquet event orders in detail—analyzing guest needs, timeline specifics, buffet arrangements, and special requests. This position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail to guarantee guest satisfaction.

The coordinator acts as the primary contact before and during functions, making introductions with group leaders, responding to special event requirements, and following up to confirm all arrangements are properly executed. This role is fundamental in upholding the brand’s commitment to impeccable service, ensuring that guests feel welcomed and valued from arrival through departure. Candidates will work closely with team members, supporting a collaborative and positive working environment that drives success.

Safety and professionalism are paramount; the role requires adherence to all company policies, including safety protocols, reporting any hazards or incidents promptly, and completing relevant training. Personal presentation must be clean and professional, reflecting the esteemed image of The Ritz-Carlton. The ability to communicate clearly and courteously, both in person and over the phone, is essential.

Physical demands include the capability to stand, sit, or walk throughout the shift, move objects weighing up to 25 pounds, and navigate various surfaces and spaces within the hotel premises. The position offers an hourly wage of $24.18, reflecting the level of responsibility and expertise expected.

In summary, this role is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality, keen on contributing to a high-end luxury environment, and capable of managing detailed event coordination tasks with exceptional customer service skills. It provides the opportunity to be involved in a dynamic, guest-focused atmosphere with a reputable international brand, perfect for candidates aiming to develop their careers in the food and beverage and events sector.
