Job Description
PruittHealth is a reputable assisted living facility dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to senior residents. Established with the mission to foster a supportive and family-like environment, PruittHealth is recognized for its commitment to enhancing the quality of life for older adults by delivering personalized and respectful services. Known for its exemplary standards in healthcare and senior living, the organization emphasizes a culture based on love, giving, and care, uniting staff, residents, and families as one supportive family unit. The facility operates with a focus on creating safe, welcoming, and engaging environments where seniors thrive comfortably and securely.
The Concierge role at PruittHealth is an essential position that acts as the primary point of contact for residents, visitors, family members, and vendors within the assisted living community. This is a PRN (pro re nata or as-needed) position offering varying shifts, which provides flexibility and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, rewarding environment. The Concierge is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and administrative support while maintaining the organization’s high standards for resident care and safety. In this role, the concierge greets and assists residents and guests, manages front desk operations, handles communication duties, coordinates interdepartmental services, and supports community programs and emergency protocols.
The Concierge contributes significantly to the smooth operation and positive atmosphere within the assisted living facility. They are expected to manage visitor access effectively, uphold confidentiality with respect to resident privacy, and respond to resident needs such as transportation scheduling and appointment reminders. Additionally, this position demands strong interpersonal and communication skills to ensure that residents feel welcome, supported, and cared for. The Concierge also plays a vital part in creating a secure environment by monitoring visitor flows and maintaining facility security protocols. This role is ideal for individuals who possess a customer-focused attitude, professionalism, and adaptability, and who are passionate about supporting senior living through outstanding service and teamwork.
PruittHealth values professionalism, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork, encouraging a workplace that adapts to the changing needs of residents and staff. The Concierge position is suited for those who have experience in customer service or administrative roles, preferably in senior living, hospitality, or healthcare sectors. While a high school diploma or equivalent is required, an associate degree is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HIPAA and elder care standards are considered advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate the capability to multitask, remain composed under pressure, and maintain excellent communication skills. This opportunity is not only a job but a chance to be part of a mission-driven community that truly cares for its residents and values every member of its team.
