The role of Concierge at VHRC is a vital position acting as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and guests. This position is offered on an as-needed, on-call basis with shifts available from 8 AM to 8 PM, Monday through Sunday, requiring flexibility with scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Concierge plays an essential role in delivering outstanding customer service by responding efficiently to various personal requests and ensuring that the needs of residents are fully met with professionalism and warmth. Responsibilities include assisting with transportation arrangements, managing reservations, providing information about local events or services, and coordinating with different departments such as maintenance and dining services to meet residents' needs.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a concierge or customer service role, preferably in a senior living or hospitality environment
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with residents, staff, and visitors
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency with office equipment and basic software such as MS Office, scheduling systems
- Customer service-oriented with a positive and approachable demeanor
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Duties
- Provide personalized service to residents by assisting with requests such as transportation, reservations, and general information
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure residents' needs are met, from maintenance to dining services
- Welcome and assist visitors, guests, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain a knowledgeable understanding of local events, services, and resources to provide residents with valuable recommendations and information
- Handle inquiries and requests related to activities, events, and services in the community
- Assist with scheduling appointments and arranging transportation for residents
- Maintain the concierge desk area in a clean and organized manner
- Ensure confidentiality and maintain the privacy of residents at all times
