Job Description

This position is for a Concierge primarily tasked with ensuring outstanding guest relations and satisfaction within a dynamic hospitality or catering environment. The Concierge role is crucial as the primary point of contact for guests, offering comprehensive assistance with catering orders and event planning. This includes coordinating with various departments and staff to ensure seamless execution of guest requests and catering services. Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Food, kitchen, or catering service background required
  • Culinary, event planning, or hospitality degree a plus
  • Available seven days a week from 9am to 6pm
  • Ability to perform physical aspects of the job including bending, squatting, lifting, climbing, and walking
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Must maintain a current Food Safety Certification
  • Ability to function well as a team member

Job Duties

  • Acknowledge, greet, and engage guests entering the department
  • Understand and have knowledge of all catering items including those not listed in the brochure
  • Determine food quantities based on the number of guests in a catered party
  • Pair foods that complement each other
  • Place orders with respective departments and maintain copies to ensure order accuracy
  • Follow through with all catering orders, double-checking with catering staff daily
  • Coordinate with staff to note special orders or requests and ensure timely readiness of orders
  • Integrate various store departments such as floral, bakery, wine, and dish for comprehensive party planning
  • Establish outside sources for party set-up and serving staff for full service catering
  • Coordinate with management for planning and ordering donation events and track costs
  • Perform other duties as required by upper management
