Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-year customer service experience preferably in senior living setting
  • Ability to communicate in primary language of residents
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and manuals
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-year customer service experience preferably in senior living
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking primary language
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees
  • Ability to perform basic math operations
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding
  • Ability to use Microsoft Windows and relevant software
  • Ability to use Internet

Job Duties

  • Assist residents with room reservations
  • Submit work order requests through automated system
  • Make reservations for community events
  • Schedule transportation services
  • Monitor Lifeline emergency response system and fire alarm panel
  • Assign and update Lifeline pendants and resident files
  • Greet residents, family members, visitors and vendors
  • Assist residents with computer use in Business Center
  • Accept mail and packages for residents
  • Handle POS charges for billing residents
  • Manage cash for stamps
  • Act as backup for answering outside calls
  • Support mission and values of community
