Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Food, kitchen, or catering service background
  • Culinary, event planning, or hospitality degree a plus
  • Available to work seven days a week from 9 am to 6 pm
  • Ability to perform physical job tasks such as bending, squatting, lifting, climbing, and walking
  • Capability to work in a fast, efficient, and controlled manner
  • Must maintain current Food Safety Certification
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Food, kitchen, or catering service experience
  • Culinary, event planning, or hospitality degree considered a plus
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to maintain certification
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of teamwork and building positive relationships

Job Duties

  • Acknowledge, greet, and engage guests upon arrival
  • Understand and have knowledge of all catering items and additional specialty platters
  • Calculate appropriate food quantities based on guest count
  • Pair foods to complement each other effectively
  • Place catering orders accurately with respective departments and maintain copies of orders
  • Follow through daily catering orders and confirm with catering staff
  • Ensure special requests are noted and orders are prepared for timely pick-up
  • Coordinate all aspects of party planning including floral, bakery, wine, and dish services
  • Establish relationships with outside providers for party set-up and serving staff
  • Plan and order for donation events within budget and manage payment reimbursements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by upper management
