Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Food kitchen or catering service background required
- Availability seven days a week from 9 am to 6 pm
- Ability to perform physical job aspects including bending squatting lifting climbing and walking
- Ability to work in a fast efficient and controlled manner
- Must maintain a current food safety certification
- Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food kitchen or catering service
- Culinary event planning or hospitality degree considered a plus
- Current food safety certification
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Job Duties
- Acknowledge greet and engage guests upon arrival
- Understand and communicate knowledge of all catering items including seafood bakery and sushi
- Calculate appropriate order amounts based on guest numbers
- Advise on food pairings that complement each other
- Place and coordinate catering orders with respective departments retaining copies for accuracy
- Review daily catering orders and confirm with staff to ensure readiness
- Oversee special requests and ensure timely order fulfillment for guest pick up
- Integrate floral bakery wine and dish departments for complete party planning services
- Establish external vendors for party set-up and serving staff
- Coordinate and plan donation events including budgeting and payment management
- Perform other duties as required by management
