Job Requirements

  • High school degree or GED
  • proven customer service experience
  • proficiency with computer skills and Microsoft Office including Windows, Outlook, and Excel
  • ability to learn new technology applications
  • understanding of safety protocols
  • ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • ability to respond to emergencies and comply with safety regulations
  • willingness to participate in training and team meetings

Job Duties

  • Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents, extend a warm welcome and greeting
  • offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests
  • ensure that community safety protocols are in place
  • Contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors and ensure wait times are minimal
  • Greet potential candidates interested in Sunrise careers and direct them to apply or capture their information in the Applicant Tracking System
  • Answer incoming calls within two to three rings with an appropriate greeting
  • Take and communicate complete messages
  • Provide community overviews to callers and direct calls appropriately
  • Manage appointments for residents and family members
  • Send get-well and sympathy cards as appropriate
  • Order flowers and name plates for new residents
  • Maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
  • Support sales inquiries and lead tracking
  • Keep desk and Bistro areas clean and organized
  • Ensure refreshments and music are available in the Bistro
  • Ensure safety and compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain resident and staff rosters and assist with emergency procedures
  • Respond to emergencies per policies
  • Manage guest and resident sign-in/out procedures
  • Update logs and records
  • Prepare and tally meal tickets
  • Collect and process meal ticket money
  • Organize and distribute mail
  • Assist with recruitment data entry
  • Monitor and order office supplies
  • Track and disperse team paychecks
  • Participate in team engagement and training programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
