Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products
- must demonstrate excellent telephone communication skills
- ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- strong interpersonal skills and compassionate approach to senior care
- ability to monitor security systems and maintain confidentiality
- availability to work part-time hours

Job Duties
- Provide ongoing telephone coverage
- serve as concierge and greet guests, residents, prospective employees, vendors, suppliers, etc., either in person or on the telephone in a warm and professional manner
- solve issues presented by residents, guests, vendors, and suppliers in a manner that meets organizational objectives and ensures individuals feel appropriately served
- keep difficult situations from escalating
- accept delivery packages, document receipt in the log book, and notify the resident
- distribute packages, business mail, magazines, etc.
- maintain visitor log-in sheets or software
- monitor closed circuit security TV cameras and fire alarm board
- maintain security for admittance to all entries accessible to the public
- prepare maintenance work orders as requested by residents and staff
- ensure lobby area is neat and clean, pick up debris, and keep desk area clutter free
- assemble marketing brochures and materials as needed
- assist with resident sign-in for Life Enrichment events or other functions
- complete tasks on the computer such as inputting resident data and maintaining databases
- maintain resident status list
- greet prospective employees, provide job application process, and explain next steps
- complete the Applicant Tracking Log
- assist the Business Office Manager with projects and assignments
- support creating a culture where business decisions and employee engagement drive top-line revenue and occupancy
