Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products
  • must demonstrate excellent telephone communication skills
  • ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment

  • ability to monitor security systems and maintain confidentiality

Job Duties

  • Provide ongoing telephone coverage
  • serve as concierge and greet guests, residents, prospective employees, vendors, suppliers, etc., either in person or on the telephone in a warm and professional manner
  • solve issues presented by residents, guests, vendors, and suppliers in a manner that meets organizational objectives and ensures individuals feel appropriately served
  • keep difficult situations from escalating
  • accept delivery packages, document receipt in the log book, and notify the resident
  • distribute packages, business mail, magazines, etc.
  • maintain visitor log-in sheets or software
  • monitor closed circuit security TV cameras and fire alarm board
  • maintain security for admittance to all entries accessible to the public
  • prepare maintenance work orders as requested by residents and staff
  • ensure lobby area is neat and clean, pick up debris, and keep desk area clutter free
  • assemble marketing brochures and materials as needed
  • assist with resident sign-in for Life Enrichment events or other functions
  • complete tasks on the computer such as inputting resident data and maintaining databases
  • maintain resident status list
  • greet prospective employees, provide job application process, and explain next steps
  • complete the Applicant Tracking Log
  • assist the Business Office Manager with projects and assignments
  • support creating a culture where business decisions and employee engagement drive top-line revenue and occupancy
