Job Requirements
- Must have experience in a long term care setting
- Must have customer service experience
- Must be able to provide clinical support to the supervisor
- Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- Must have the ability to read, write, and comprehend English
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience in patient relations, customer service, or healthcare, preferably in a long-term care setting
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- A genuine passion for working with seniors and improving their quality of life
Job Duties
- Build relationships with residents through continual monitoring of overall satisfaction during their stay
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure that residents' needs and preferences are met
- Advocate for residents' rights and ensure that their voices are heard in all aspects of their care
- Implement initiatives to improve the overall patient experience
- Manage difficult or emotional resident situations by identifying and resolving these problems in a timely manner
- Provide support and guidance to families during difficult transitions or times of need
