Job Requirements

  • Previous experience working with the elderly preferred
  • Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to pass a Department of Social and Health Services background check (some negative actions can be acceptable)
  • Valid CPR/First Aid certificate (Chateau will pay for training if not certified)

Job Duties

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors to the community, greet and direct guests and family members and monitor the entry and lobby areas
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and resident inquiries, forwarding messages when appropriate
  • Provide excellent customer service when coordinating appointments and handling inquiries from residents and family members
  • Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, process deliveries and faxes
  • Take resident to-go orders and enter into the point-of-sale system
  • Conduct daily resident security check
