Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- basic first aid and CPR certification where required
- successful completion of all specified training programs
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- ability to write simple correspondence
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- ability to work various schedules and shifts
- ability to operate telephone, emergency call system, monitoring board or beeper, photocopier
- ability to work various schedules and shifts as needed

Job Duties
- Serves as point of contact for all resident requests and telephone calls except those of an emergency nature
- coordinates services for residents and their family members
- maintains extremely high standards of customer service
- answers questions regarding local stores, attractions and services
- ensures that the lobby area and first floor common areas and restrooms are clean and welcoming
- coordinates the community's transportation schedule
- serves as a liaison between the dining room and residents
- may supervise front desk reception staff and drivers
- may drive company vehicle
- may perform other duties as assigned
