Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- customer service experience
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and related computer applications
- ability to handle multiple priorities

- ability to follow safety guidelines and regulations
- willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks, drug testing, and any required health screenings including tuberculosis test and physical evaluation

Job Qualifications

- proven customer service experience and skills
- proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and ability to learn new applications

- sound judgment, problem solving, and decision-making capabilities
- willingness to participate in training and comply with community standards and regulations.
Job Duties
- Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents, extend a warm welcome and greeting, offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests, and ensure that the community safety protocols are in place
- Contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors and ensure wait times are minimal
- Greet potential candidates interested in learning more about Sunrise careers and job openings and direct candidates to apply online or capture candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System to begin recruitment
- Answer incoming telephone calls and resident calls promptly with appropriate community greeting messages and identification
- Take complete messages with pertinent information and communicate them to the intended recipients
- Provide community overviews to callers, determine appropriate transfer contacts, and notify callers of the transfers
- Manage appointments for residents and family members including hairdresser and transportation
- Send get well and sympathy cards to residents and families as needed
- Order Memory Flowers for deceased residents
- Maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory and assist with customer relationship management lead tracking
- Keep front desk and Bistro areas clean, stocked, and inviting
- Ensure safety procedures and compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- Maintain registries and rosters for emergencies and help enforce the Safe Leaving Program and resident safety standards
- Handle daily administrative tasks such as updating resident phone lists, meal ticket processing, mail distribution, and office supplies monitoring
- Participate actively in team meetings, training, and community engagement programs to support overall team success and uphold Sunshine’s service standards.
