Job Requirements

High school degree or GED
Proven customer service experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Willingness to participate in required training and compliance programs
Ability to follow safety procedures and protocols
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Completion and passing of drug test
Compliance with health screening including tuberculosis test and physical evaluation as required
Covid-19 and influenza vaccination as mandated by law

Job Qualifications

Proven customer service experience and skills
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office and Sunrise applications
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Good organizational, time management, and follow through skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Accurate record keeping skills

Job Duties

Oversee the community entry area for visitors and guests, extend a warm welcome, offer and provide beverages, ensure community safety protocols
Contact Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors
Greet potential candidates interested in careers and direct them to apply online or capture candidate information
Answer incoming calls promptly with appropriate greeting and identification
Take complete messages with pertinent information and communicate to intended recipients
Offer and provide community overview to callers, determine proper referral, and notify callers of transfers
Manage appointments for residents and family such as hairdresser and transportation
Send get well cards to residents in hospital, order Memory Flower for deceased residents, send sympathy cards to families
Order flowers and name plates for new residents prior to move-in
Order guest meals for resident and family on move-in day
Create and maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
Support Director of Sales by handling inquiry calls and lead tracking database entry
Keep desk and entry area neat and organized
Check Bistro for cleanliness, maintain refreshments and music
Partner with team to ensure compliance with safety regulations and risk management programs
Maintain emergency rosters and champion Safe Leaving Program
Update resident phone list, move-in/out register, guest sign-in logs
Prepare meal tickets and tally meal counts for dining service
Organize and distribute mail and newspapers
Assist with recruitment and general administrative duties
Participate in team meetings and engagement programs
Maintain compliance with required training and perform other duties as assigned
