Job Requirements
- High school degree or GED
- Proven customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Willingness to participate in required training and compliance programs
- Ability to follow safety procedures and protocols
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Completion and passing of drug test
- Compliance with health screening including tuberculosis test and physical evaluation as required
- Covid-19 and influenza vaccination as mandated by law

Job Duties
- Oversee the community entry area for visitors and guests, extend a warm welcome, offer and provide beverages, ensure community safety protocols
- Contact Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors
- Greet potential candidates interested in careers and direct them to apply online or capture candidate information
- Answer incoming calls promptly with appropriate greeting and identification
- Take complete messages with pertinent information and communicate to intended recipients
- Offer and provide community overview to callers, determine proper referral, and notify callers of transfers
- Manage appointments for residents and family such as hairdresser and transportation
- Send get well cards to residents in hospital, order Memory Flower for deceased residents, send sympathy cards to families
- Order flowers and name plates for new residents prior to move-in
- Order guest meals for resident and family on move-in day
- Create and maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
- Support Director of Sales by handling inquiry calls and lead tracking database entry
- Keep desk and entry area neat and organized
- Check Bistro for cleanliness, maintain refreshments and music
- Partner with team to ensure compliance with safety regulations and risk management programs
- Maintain emergency rosters and champion Safe Leaving Program
- Update resident phone list, move-in/out register, guest sign-in logs
- Prepare meal tickets and tally meal counts for dining service
- Organize and distribute mail and newspapers
- Assist with recruitment and general administrative duties
- Participate in team meetings and engagement programs
- Maintain compliance with required training and perform other duties as assigned
