Job Requirements
- must be 18 years of age or older
- background in food kitchen or catering service
- availability seven days a week from 9 am to 6 pm
- ability to perform physical job aspects including bending squatting lifting climbing and walking
- ability to work fast efficient and controlled
- maintain a current Food Safety Certification
- ability to function as a team member and communicate effectively

- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to multitask and manage orders efficiently
- event planning or hospitality degree preferred
- experience in culinary arts a plus
- ability to work within a team and maintain positive relationships
- attention to detail in order management and event coordination
Job Duties
- acknowledge greet and engage guests entering the department
- understand and have knowledge of all catering items including special items outside the catering brochure
- determine appropriate amounts to order based on guest count
- pair foods that complement each other
- place orders with corresponding departments ensuring copies are kept for consistency in order details price structure pick up times and special requests
- follow through with daily catering orders ensuring verification with staff that all orders are listed and prepared
- coordinate with catering staff to note special requests and ensure timely readiness for guest pick up
- integrate additional services such as floral bakery wine and dishware into guest party planning
- establish external sources for party set-up and serving staff to provide full service catering
- coordinate planning and ordering for donation events manage budget liaise with organizations and track costs for reporting
- perform other duties as requested by upper management
