Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 40lbs
- High school diploma or similar
- A valid/current OLCC and Food Handler's Card or be willing to obtain one prior to start date
- Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and on-site winery events
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Communicate through active listening skills and gather insight into human behavior
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or similar
- Valid/current OLCC and Food Handler's Card or willingness to obtain prior to start date
- Prior experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and active listening abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Demonstrated knowledge or interest in wine and the wine industry
Job Duties
- Greet guests in warm, professional and genuinely hospitable manner
- Guide guests to Tasting Room bar, Tour & Tasting or other appointments/locations and promptly notify appropriate staff of their arrival
- Handle a wide range of administrative and executive support tasks, working independently with little or no supervision
- Answer multi-line telephone system, take accurate messages and transfer telephone calls to the appropriate person in an efficient manner
- Create and type correspondence and memorandums in proper format
- Work efficiently with all departments of the company to ensure optimal guest service levels are being achieved and maintained
- Monitor email account when directed and direct emails to the appropriate person
- Relay incoming telephone calls
- Continually enhance own knowledge of WVV's products, varieties, appellations, markets, customers, competitors and opportunities
- Support Company’s effort to create a more sustainable, cross-cultural and green environment
