The role of Showroom Concierge at Lars Remodeling & Design serves as the welcoming face of the showroom, playing a pivotal role in creating an elevated first impression for every guest and caller. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing and supporting the General Manager, the Showroom Concierge ensures smooth day-to-day operations, thoughtful client coordination, and a consistently exceptional showroom experience. Ideal candidates for this position are warm, polished, highly organized, and genuinely passionate about hospitality and design. The Showroom Concierge is responsible for extending a gracious and professional welcome to visitors both in-person and over the phone, embodying the spirit of a luxury showroom environment.
In this dynamic role, the Showroom Concierge engages walk-in guests with open-ended questions to understand their needs and directs them to the appropriate team member or consultant to facilitate a seamless sales consultation. They gather detailed client and project information with precision to support the sales team effectively. This role also acts as a trusted liaison between clients and the sales team, handling inquiries with care and ensuring satisfaction at every interaction. Managing client meeting schedules, appointments, and follow-up communications in collaboration with Project Consultants and Product Specialists is a key responsibility, ensuring excellent client experiences and operational efficiency.
Additionally, the Showroom Concierge supports social media engagement by monitoring comments and direct messages during showroom hours and flags any that require responses. The role also involves assisting with showroom events, both for customers and employees, thereby cultivating a vibrant showroom atmosphere. Aside from customer service, this position demands strong administrative support capabilities, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, handling correspondence, and facilitating design consultation scheduling. Responsibilities extend to supporting marketing efforts through management of company collateral such as business cards, appliance literature, and direct mailers.
Operational duties include executing daily opening and closing procedures for the showroom, managing inventory by replenishing snacks and beverages, maintaining restroom supplies, tending to the showroom and kitchen coffee machines, and ensuring proper functionality of lighting and shades. Filing, scanning, and uploading important documents are also part of the administrative realm of this position. The physical demands of the job require the employee to interact with customers frequently, manage prolonged standing or sitting periods, use telephones, and work extensively on computers. Occasional climbing, reaching, stooping, and lifting up to 25 pounds are also expected.

Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years customer service experience (preferred)
- 3+ years experience as an administrative assistant (preferred)
- proficiency in ms office including word, excel, outlook, powerpoint, and sharepoint
- working knowledge of pdf-xchange for pdf creation
- working knowledge of builder trend, construction management software
- working knowledge of hubspot marketing and sales software
- excellent interpersonal skills
