Oakmont Gardens is a renowned senior living community located at 301 White Oak Drive, Santa Rosa, CA. Known for its dedication to providing exceptional care and a vibrant living environment for seniors, Oakmont Gardens emphasizes connection, compassion, and community in every aspect of its services. This establishment is committed to creating a supportive atmosphere where residents, their families, and staff members feel valued, respected, and cared for. Oakmont Gardens blends comfortable living spaces with a robust array of amenities and personalized services that enhance the quality of life for seniors by promoting social engagement, wellness, and independence. The community also offers various support programs and events aimed at fostering an inclusive and dynamic environment that residents can call home.
The Concierge role at Oakmont Gardens plays a key part in shaping the experience of everyone who interacts with the community. With a pay rate of $19.00 per hour and part-time hours scheduled for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, this position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a front-facing role and appreciate working in a hospitable, service-centered environment. The Concierge is the first point of contact and the welcoming face at the front desk, responsible for making residents, visitors, and team members feel at ease and well attended to. This role demands a warm and professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and adept multitasking – all crucial in ensuring the front desk operates efficiently and represents the community’s values of respect and attentiveness.
As the hub for resident interactions and inquiries, the Concierge supports a variety of administrative and customer service tasks. These include greeting and assisting residents and their visitors, managing communication channels such as incoming phone calls, handling visitor logs and package deliveries, and coordinating appointments and transportation. The role also involves maintaining a clean, organized, and secure lobby and reception area, which contributes to the safety and aesthetic appeal of the community. Importantly, the Concierge is trained to respond appropriately to emergencies or resident alerts, acting swiftly and following established protocols to ensure resident safety.
Oakmont Gardens seeks candidates who can embody their hospitality promises by greeting everyone warmly and personally, treating all with courteous respect, anticipating and responding to needs promptly, and maintaining professionalism and meticulous attention to detail throughout their shifts. The ideal Concierge is calm under pressure, has proficiency with basic computer programs including Microsoft Office and email, and shows a genuine passion for helping others. This part-time position offers the opportunity to be part of a supportive team that values care and connection, providing meaningful contributions in the lives of seniors and their families while gaining experience in a noble and fulfilling work environment.
