The role of Concierge at Oakmont Gardens is vital, serving as the welcoming face and friendly voice that residents, guests, and team members encounter upon arrival. This part-time position, offering $19.00 per hour, works on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, making it perfect for individuals who excel in multitasking and thrive in a customer service-oriented environment. The Concierge is responsible for maintaining an organized, clean, and secure front desk and lobby area while providing exceptional service to all who enter the community. This includes greeting residents and visitors warmly, efficiently handling phone calls, assisting residents with inquiries and scheduling, managing visitor logs and package deliveries, supporting event coordination, and responding promptly to emergencies or resident alerts.
Successful candidates are those with strong communication and interpersonal skills, a calm and professional demeanor, and proficiency with computer systems such as Microsoft Office and email. Prior experience in customer service or front desk roles is preferred, but the key attributes are a friendly nature and the ability to handle occasional high-pressure situations with composure. The position also requires the physical ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods and to lift up to 20 pounds. Working as a Concierge at Oakmont Gardens means being an essential part of a team that values professional hospitality standards and genuinely cares about the residents’ wellbeing.
