Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Six months clerical experience preferred
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • Ability to accept responsibility and act quickly in emergency situations
  • Dependability and punctuality
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Knowledge of emergency equipment and systems

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency
  • Previous experience in customer service
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • Six months experience working in a clerical capacity preferred
  • Ability to accept responsibility and act quickly in emergency situations
  • Good radio etiquette when utilizing the radio to contact other departments
  • Cooperative and professional attitude

Job Duties

  • Coordinate the activities of the reception team
  • Ensure that every phone call is handled in a courteous and professional manner
  • Greet all residents and visitors in the facility
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct to proper extension or take messages
  • Document any unusual events on the Daily Communication Report
  • Fill out incident reports on residents or visitors as needed
  • Understand your role in monthly fire drills and notify the monitoring company to be taken off line prior to drills
