The Concierge role at this Assisted Living Facility is a vital position focused on serving as the first and friendly point of contact for residents, their families, and visitors. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this role aims to create a warm and welcoming environment that enhances the overall resident experience. The Concierge acts as a liaison, offering assistance with inquiries, coordinating services, managing appointments, and supporting administrative functions. This position requires excellent communication skills, a warm demeanor, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a dynamic setting. The Concierge supports not only the residents but also collaborates with various departments within the facility to ensure that all residents' needs are met promptly and professionally. This role entails maintaining a clean and organized workspace, handling correspondence, and monitoring the safety and security of the facility. The position also demands adherence to confidentiality and ethical standards at all times.
This is a part-time on-call position with pay ranging from $19.00 to $21.50 per hour depending on experience. The ideal candidate will bring previous customer service experience, preferably in senior living or healthcare environments, and possess proficiency in computer systems for administrative tasks. Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Required health screening, TB clearance, and criminal record clearance
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Compliance with California Code of Regulations sections 85065(f)/87411(g)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferably in senior living or healthcare
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in computer systems such as word processing, email, and database management
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

Job Duties
- Greet residents, families, and visitors in a warm and friendly manner, providing a welcoming environment
- Provide information, answer inquiries, and assist residents and their families with requests and concerns
- Coordinate appointments, transportation, and other services to ensure seamless resident experience
- Maintain knowledge of facility amenities, activities, and services and communicate this information effectively
- Assist with administrative tasks such as managing correspondence, maintaining records, and scheduling appointments
- Keep the concierge desk area clean and organized, ensuring supplies are stocked and accessible
- Collaborate with staff to address resident needs and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Monitor facility security and safety, report unusual incidents to appropriate personnel
- Act as liaison between residents, families, and other departments to facilitate communication
