The role of Concierge at 333 Water with Hines Living represents a vital front-line position in enhancing resident experiences and community building within the firm's residential portfolio. Hines Living is one of the highest growth priorities for Hines, rapidly expanding across North America, and this role supports that expansion. The Concierge serves as the primary point of contact for residents, offering personalized hospitality-focused services designed to create welcoming, comfortable, and convenient living environments. The position requires organizing, coordinating, and implementing a variety of resident services and programs that promote satisfaction and engagement. Responsibilities include greeting residents and guests warmly, assisting with luggage and move-ins or move-outs, monitoring safety and security systems, managing communication channels, and providing local area information about dining and delivery options.

This role emphasizes responsiveness and proactive relationship building, ensuring resident inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and satisfactorily within 24 hours. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Two or more years’ experience in customer service environment
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Welcome new residents and guests and ensure that prospects and visitors are comfortable as they wait
  • Support residents with use of luggage carts
  • Monitor guest traffic and parking garage for team members and vendors
  • Monitor security cameras and fire alarm panel
  • Answer phone calls, transfer calls to appropriate reference points, and assist with completed request call backs
  • Ensure packages are delivered and document as well as notify residents of the arrival in a timely fashion
  • Update the daily log pertaining to any events and report any concerns to management
  • Book freight elevators for move-ins, move-outs, and furniture deliveries
  • Maintain equipment inventory
  • Keep detailed information of the surrounding areas pertaining to restaurants, delivery places, and other areas of interest for residents
  • Organize, coordinate, and implement various resident services and programs
  • Act as the point of contact for residents, responding within 24 hours to ensure the inquiry/complaint has been resolved satisfactorily
  • Provide a personalized experience, with emphasis on care and convenience for our future and current residents
  • Engage with residents, fostering an ongoing, positive relationship while confirming their expectations are being fulfilled
