We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Concierge to join our team on a part-time weekend basis, specifically from 9 AM to 5 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. The Concierge serves as the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and their families, playing a crucial role in delivering exemplary customer service. This role involves greeting guests warmly, answering inquiries professionally via telephone or in person, and supporting the sales, marketing, and business office departments. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, creative in fostering positive interactions, and motivated to help maintain a comfortable and inviting lobby experience. In addition, the Concierge assists with managing the lobby environment, promoting community activities, and facilitating tours and inquiries about the community. This position is vital in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere that reflects the values and high standards of Distinctive Living. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • six months of receptionist or similar experience
  • effective verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to use basic computer applications
  • availability to work weekend shifts from 9 AM to 5 PM
  • professional attitude and appearance
  • strong interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • six months of experience in a receptionist or similar role
  • preferred experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to communicate clearly in person and over the phone
  • strong customer service orientation
  • ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • friendly and professional demeanor

Job Duties

  • Assist residents, families, visitors, and employees with questions or problems resulting in a positive experience
  • greet all visitors and answer incoming calls professionally and respectfully
  • monitor entry area for visitors and guests, greet and direct as necessary
  • answer incoming telephone calls and resident calls, forward and take messages
  • receive and send packages for residents
  • assist with residents who request help with mailing letters and packages
  • manage the lobby by ensuring the desk and area are clean and neat, create a comfortable and inviting environment
  • assist activity director in promoting activities in the lobby
  • manage the inquiry process and connect callers or visitors to appropriate team members
  • respond to inquiries and tours when key staff are unavailable
  • facilitate community tours as needed
  • support marketing standards and assist with sales and marketing duties including lead management and assembling marketing packets
  • assist in processing new resident documentation
  • help maintain resident files confidentially
  • promote and encourage resident participation in activities
  • follow and communicate company policies and procedures
  • perform other duties as assigned
