Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- six months of receptionist or similar experience
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- ability to use basic computer applications
- availability to work weekend shifts from 9 AM to 5 PM
- professional attitude and appearance
- strong interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- six months of experience in a receptionist or similar role
- preferred experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ability to communicate clearly in person and over the phone
- strong customer service orientation
- ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- friendly and professional demeanor
Job Duties
- Assist residents, families, visitors, and employees with questions or problems resulting in a positive experience
- greet all visitors and answer incoming calls professionally and respectfully
- monitor entry area for visitors and guests, greet and direct as necessary
- answer incoming telephone calls and resident calls, forward and take messages
- receive and send packages for residents
- assist with residents who request help with mailing letters and packages
- manage the lobby by ensuring the desk and area are clean and neat, create a comfortable and inviting environment
- assist activity director in promoting activities in the lobby
- manage the inquiry process and connect callers or visitors to appropriate team members
- respond to inquiries and tours when key staff are unavailable
- facilitate community tours as needed
- support marketing standards and assist with sales and marketing duties including lead management and assembling marketing packets
- assist in processing new resident documentation
- help maintain resident files confidentially
- promote and encourage resident participation in activities
- follow and communicate company policies and procedures
- perform other duties as assigned
