Job Description

Clarendale Ann Arbor is a distinguished senior living community dedicated to providing exceptional care and hospitality to its residents. Situated in the vibrant city of Ann Arbor, this community offers a warm, welcoming environment where seniors can live comfortably and enjoy engaging, meaningful experiences every day. Clarendale Ann Arbor is part of a larger organization that is committed to innovating the future of senior living through investment in both its residents and employees. This company culture emphasizes respect, dignity, and quality care, ensuring that every resident feels valued and supported throughout their residency.

Working at Clarendale Ann Arbor means being part of more than just a workplace; it means becoming an integral part of a community that celebrates the rich life stories of its residents and fosters lifelong connections. The community prides itself on operating with a hospitality-driven approach, ensuring that all who enter experience kindness, respect, and prompt attention. This commitment extends to employees, with ongoing investments in professional development and a supportive work environment encouraging growth and fulfillment.

The role of Concierge at Clarendale Ann Arbor is a vital hospitality-focused position that serves as the welcoming face of the community. As the first point of contact for residents, guests, prospective employees, suppliers, vendors, and service providers, the Concierge embodies the spirit of the community. This role requires a warm, professional demeanor paired with excellent communication skills to address inquiries, support residents' needs, and manage daily logistical tasks efficiently. The Concierge serves as a bridge between the residents and the various departments within the community, ensuring that requests are handled promptly and that difficult situations are deescalated with care and professionalism.

Specific responsibilities include greeting visitors warmly by name, answering telephone calls with professionalism, accepting and logging packages with timely resident notifications, preparing maintenance work orders, and assisting the Business Office Manager with various projects. The Concierge is also essential in upholding the LCS Hospitality Promises — a set of guiding principles that include greeting others with a smile, treating everyone with respect, anticipating needs, listening and responding enthusiastically and promptly, and maintaining high professional standards in conduct and appearance.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about senior care and hospitality to make a meaningful impact every day. The position invites applicants who are enthusiastic, compassionate, and eager to contribute to a senior living community dedicated to excellence in service and engagement. Clarendale Ann Arbor is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer, deeply committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where every employee is encouraged to thrive and uphold the highest standards of hospitality and care.
