Job Description

Senior Lifestyle is a leading provider of senior living communities committed to enriching the lives of older adults by delivering exceptional hospitality and care. With a dedicated focus on creating a warm and supportive environment, Senior Lifestyle emphasizes its core values encapsulated by the acronym HEART, which stands for Hospitality, Excellence, Appreciation, Respect, and Teamwork. These values form the foundation of the company culture and guide the daily interactions between staff, residents, and their families. Established to serve the unique needs of seniors, Senior Lifestyle operates with compassion and professionalism, ensuring that every resident enjoys a fulfilling and dignified living experience.

Senior Lifestyle is currently seeking a part-time Community Assistant to join their team. This role is pivotal in supporting the frontline of community engagement, acting as a welcoming presence for residents, guests, and vendors alike. The position offers a starting salary of $17 per hour and requires availability from 4 pm until 8 pm with alternating weekends from 3 pm to 8 pm. The ideal candidate will embody the HEART values by providing outstanding support while maintaining a safe, efficient, and friendly environment within the community.

As a Community Assistant, you will be responsible for greeting and assisting residents, visitors, and prospective residents, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Your duties will include answering phone calls, monitoring security through surveillance systems, and responding promptly to any unusual activities to maintain the safety and well-being of all community members. Handling incoming packages, plants, prescription drugs, and other deliveries with attention and care will also be part of your daily tasks.

Beyond these front desk responsibilities, you will manage administrative functions such as processing work orders and incident reports, maintaining sign-in and sign-out logs for keys and gate passes, and supporting other departments as needed. Critical to this role is ensuring that any concerns from residents, family members, or employees receive timely and thoughtful responses to uphold a high level of customer satisfaction. Maintaining a positive, professional, and compassionate demeanor in every interaction is essential to fostering a sense of community and trust.

Working closely with a team of dedicated professionals, you will have opportunities to develop your skills in communication, problem-solving, and multitasking within a supportive and dynamic environment. Senior Lifestyle prides itself on investing in its team members by providing comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans, plus disabilities coverage and paid time off for eligible employees. Furthermore, Senior Lifestyle facilitates early wage access through DailyPay and ensures a safe workplace by requiring COVID-19 vaccination proof, considering exemptions as applicable.

Join Senior Lifestyle as a Community Assistant and be part of a purpose-driven organization that values your contributions and supports your growth, all while making a positive impact in the lives of seniors and their families.
