This position is for a Front Desk Receptionist who plays a pivotal role as the first point of contact for guests, residents, and employees alike. The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for greeting visitors warmly, managing incoming calls both internal and external, and handling messages efficiently. The Receptionist assists with various administrative tasks, including collating brochures for marketing purposes, preparing meal tickets, tallying meal count sheets for dining staff, and maintaining up-to-date resident phone lists and logs. Furthermore, the receptionist coordinates appointments for residents and family members, ensuring smooth scheduling for services such as hairdressers and transportation. The role also encompasses keeping the front desk and entry area organized and neat while distributing mail to residents and coordinating staff.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One to three years customer service experience and/or training
- Ability to read and write English
- Excellent telephone skills
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Ability to use computers including Microsoft Office and email
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills
- Ability to interact courteously with guests, residents and staff
- Ability to work indoors in a climate-controlled environment
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One to three years customer service experience and/or training
- Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple correspondence
- Excellent telephone communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel
- Ability to use email and internet
- Demonstrated interest in working with seniors

Job Duties
- Greet guests, residents and employees
- Manage external and internal telephone calls
- Take and communicate messages accurately
- Provide general information and directions
- Collate brochures for the marketing department
- Prepare meal tickets and tally meal counts
- Update resident phone lists, rosters, and registers daily
- Manage resident and family member appointments
- Maintain a neat and organized desk and entry area
- Organize and distribute mail
- Maintain resident forms for credits
- Adhere to company personnel and operating policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
