The Concierge role within the Front Office and Guest Services department is integral to maintaining the hotel's high service benchmarks and enhancing the overall guest experience. Reporting directly to the Front Office Manager and Director of Rooms, the Concierge serves as the primary curator of local experiences and as a trusted ambassador of the destination. This role requires a polished and knowledgeable professional who excels in anticipating guest needs and crafting bespoke itineraries that reflect the hotel's commitment to luxury hospitality.

The Concierge is responsible for delivering anticipatory, intuitive service tailored to each guest's preferences, recognizing special occasions, and providing personalized recommendations for dining, entertainment, and cultural activities. This involves coordinating and confirming reservations and tickets with precision and discretion, ensuring every guest interaction upholds the highest standards of professionalism and care. The role also demands maintaining expert-level knowledge of the downtown area, nurturing strong partnerships with local businesses and service providers, and staying current on city events to offer exclusive opportunities that elevate guest stays.

Beyond guest services, the Concierge supports front desk operations during peak periods to ensure efficiency and continuity, manages guest inquiries and service recovery with professionalism, and collaborates closely with other hotel departments to fulfill special requests flawlessly. Upholding Forbes Travel Guide standards, LQA benchmarks, and brand service protocols is a crucial aspect of this position, along with maintaining impeccable grooming and confidentiality. Job Requirements

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Proven ability to manage multiple requests with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, service-driven demeanor
  • Previous concierge, guest services, or front desk experience in an upper-upscale or luxury hotel environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the local downtown area including dining, entertainment, and cultural offerings
  • Experience with PMS and concierge platforms such as Opera or ALICE preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
