We are currently seeking a reliable and personable Front Desk Attendant to join our client’s team on a part-time basis. This role specifically covers shifts on Thursday and Friday from 3pm to 11pm, with an expectation of being available for on-call duties as needed. The Front Desk Attendant serves as the initial point of contact for all residents and guests entering the community or building, ensuring friendly greetings, efficient processing of requests, and prompt communication of any concerns or issues.

This role requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple responsibilities such as managing the front desk, logging packages, monitoring security systems, tracking incident reports, and assisting residents with questions or special requests. The Front Desk Attendant is critical in facilitating smooth daily operations by maintaining an organized log of activities and collaborating closely with the Property Manager and other staff to quickly escalate and resolve issues.
This position demands excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to act calmly and effectively under pressure. Candidates must possess an intermediate level of computer proficiency to accurately document records and utilize security control systems. Physical stamina is also essential, as the job requires standing for long periods, navigating various parts of the building, handling packages, and occasional lifting up to 30 pounds.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in customer service or front desk role preferred
- ability to work Thursday and Friday 3pm-11pm shifts
- availability for on-call duties
- ability to lift 30lbs following safety procedures
- ability to stand for long periods
- good physical stamina and ability to walk and climb stairs
- ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
- proficiency in typing and computer use

Job Duties
- Greet residents and guests upon entry
- respond to requests, questions, and other needs
- document issues or events as needed
- develop an understanding of Association policies and requirements
- escalate concerns to the Property Manager for immediate resolution when necessary
- monitor Emergency Response System and respond efficiently
- monitor and control Electronic Security Control Systems
- ensure all safety precautions and procedures are followed
- log all packages and track them until pick-up or delivery to the resident
- handle overnight activities as required
- answer phones promptly with accurate information
- track activity logs and incident reports for management review
- perform other duties as assigned
