Job Duties
- Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome
- Use a clear and understandable speaking voice to respond to inquiries about outlet operation hours and local attractions
- Promptly answer telephone calls and record messages
- Retrieve and communicate messages to guests
- Arrange and confirm recreation, business, and dining activities both inside and outside the hotel
- Distribute printed materials such as brochures and hotel information
- Organize, set up, and monitor food and beverage programs in the Concierge Lounge
- Assist guests with food and beverage service and cleanup
- Field guest complaints, research effective solutions, and negotiate results
- Listen and extend assistance to resolve problems such as price conflicts or insufficient heating or air conditioning
- Remain calm and alert during emergency situations and heavy hotel activity
- Plan and implement detailed steps using experienced judgment and discretion
