Job Duties

  • Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome
  • Use a clear and understandable speaking voice to respond to inquiries about outlet operation hours and local attractions
  • Promptly answer telephone calls and record messages
  • Retrieve and communicate messages to guests
  • Arrange and confirm recreation, business, and dining activities both inside and outside the hotel
  • Distribute printed materials such as brochures and hotel information
  • Organize, set up, and monitor food and beverage programs in the Concierge Lounge
  • Assist guests with food and beverage service and cleanup
  • Field guest complaints, research effective solutions, and negotiate results
  • Listen and extend assistance to resolve problems such as price conflicts or insufficient heating or air conditioning
  • Remain calm and alert during emergency situations and heavy hotel activity
  • Plan and implement detailed steps using experienced judgment and discretion
