The role of Concierge at The Delaney at Georgetown is a vital part of the hospitality team, offering a unique opportunity to serve as the friendly and professional face of the community. This position is specifically designed for individuals who are passionate about creating positive first impressions and providing exceptional service to residents, guests, prospective employees, suppliers, vendors, and outside service providers. The Concierge position is part-time and requires weekend availability, offering flexible scheduling for those who seek meaningful work with purposeful impact. As a Concierge, you will be responsible for greeting visitors warmly and professionally, maintaining ongoing telephone coverage, and effectively resolving issues presented by residents or guests to ensure satisfaction and uphold organizational objectives. You'll also manage package deliveries, maintain accurate records, and prepare maintenance work orders as needed. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Experience in hospitality or senior living environment preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and handle difficult situations calmly
  • Availability to work part-time with weekend shifts

Job Duties

  • Meet and greet residents, guests, prospective employees, suppliers, vendors, and outside service providers in a warm and professional manner
  • Provide ongoing telephone coverage
  • Solve issues presented by residents, guests, vendors, and suppliers to meet organizational objectives and ensure individuals feel appropriately served
  • Accept delivery packages, document receipt of packages in a log book, and notify residents of their deliveries
  • Prepare maintenance work orders as requested by residents and staff
  • Assist the Business Office Manager with projects and assignments
