Recognized repeatedly as a Great Place to Work, Sunrise offers a supportive and positive environment where employees find deep fulfillment in their work and joy in serving others. This culture of kindness and professionalism highlights Sunrise as a special place to build a meaningful career in senior care. This essential position acts as a hub for communication and hospitality, providing a warm greeting, managing telephone calls, facilitating community inquiries, and supporting the wider sales and marketing efforts of the community. The Concierge plays a key role in creating a positive first impression by maintaining a pleasant and safe environment at the community entrance and Bistro area. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting potential residents and their families, overseeing safety and security protocols, arranging appointments, coordinating resident move-in processes, and helping with recruitment efforts. Additionally, the Concierge is instrumental in administrative tasks such as managing communications, updating resident and team member records, ordering supplies, and handling guest services.

Working as part of the Sunrise team means embracing the company’s mission, principles of service, and core values every day. The Concierge helps to promote a culture of safety by adhering to national and provincial occupational health standards, emergency procedures, and risk management programs. The role demands excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to multitask efficiently, and a strong customer service focus. Teamwork and engagement are also vital, as the Concierge contributes to team success through active participation in meetings, training, and company events.

Sunrise offers its employees competitive compensation aligned with location, skills, and experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, wellness programs, and more. The company prioritizes the health and safety of its residents and employees by requiring drug testing (excluding marijuana) and compliance with applicable vaccination mandates. Joining Sunrise Senior Living means becoming part of a caring community where your unique talents help brighten the lives of seniors every day, making it a rewarding and enriching career opportunity.
