Job Description

Sunrise Senior Living is a renowned provider in the senior living industry, dedicated to empowering seniors to live longer, healthier, and happier lives through compassionate care and community engagement. As a certified Great Place to Work for multiple years, Sunrise nurtures a culture that values its employees and fosters an environment of teamwork, respect, and personal growth. The company prioritizes a holistic approach to senior care, blending professional excellence with heartfelt service to ensure residents experience the highest quality of life. Sunrise Senior Living stands out as a leader in the sector by embracing innovation, continuous improvement, and by creating meaningful connections among residents, their families, and team members. The community at Sunrise Senior Living offers a supportive and engaging environment where residents can thrive physically, emotionally, and socially while feeling safe and valued.

The Concierge role at Sunrise Senior Living is a vital position, serving as the initial contact and primary ambassador for the community. This role is often the first impression visitors, residents, prospective families, and potential employees receive, making it fundamental to the community's success and atmosphere. The Concierge is responsible for greeting visitors warmly, managing all incoming and outgoing communications including phone calls and messages, and assisting the sales and recruitment teams with inquiries and candidate processing. They help sustain a welcoming environment by maintaining the entryway and Bistro areas, ensuring cleanliness, availability of refreshments, and an inviting atmosphere with music and comfortable seating.

Furthermore, the Concierge supports multiple administrative functions, such as maintaining resident and team member rosters, assisting with meal ticket management, handling mail distribution, and coordinating appointments. This role is also crucial in risk management and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations, monitoring community entry and exit, and responding to emergencies. Their duties extend to supporting the Director of Sales and Executive Director with marketing and move-in processes, contributing significantly to resident satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Sunrise Senior Living emphasizes a work culture based on its Mission, Principles of Service, and Core Values, where the value of human life is sacred. The Concierge is expected to embody these values by participating actively within the team, maintaining clear and pleasant communication, and upholding high standards of service. This is a full-time role requiring excellent organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and a friendly, helpful attitude to ensure that every interaction reflects the Sunset commitment to care. The position offers competitive compensation depending on location and experience, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, and paid time off. Candidates must pass required health and background checks and may be required to be vaccinated in accordance with local mandates.

Joining Sunrise Senior Living as a Concierge offers a unique opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of seniors while advancing your career in a supportive and rewarding environment. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, enjoy working in a dynamic team setting, and want to contribute to a trusted leader in senior living, this role is an ideal fit.
