Job Description

The Southwood is currently seeking a dedicated Concierge to join their professional team. This role is essential in ensuring a high level of service for residents, their families, and visitors, contributing to the overall positive experience within the community. The Concierge will be the friendly face and first point of contact, providing assistance with inquiries, directions, transportation arrangements, and more. In addition to delivering excellent customer service, the Concierge will play a crucial role in supporting various community functions, coordinating events, and maintaining smooth communication between residents and staff. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service or concierge experience preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
  • Proficiency with office equipment and software including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly
  • Strong communication interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Job Duties

  • Greet residents families and visitors warmly providing assistance with inquiries directions and requests
  • Offer a variety of concierge services including arranging transportation coordinating reservations and helping residents with special requests or errands
  • Serve as a central point of contact for residents and staff communicating important information about community events activities and announcements
  • Maintain a high level of customer service ensuring that all residents feel valued heard and well-supported in their needs and requests
  • Perform light administrative duties such as maintaining logs scheduling appointments and assisting with resident or visitor check-in check-out procedures
  • Assist in the coordination of community events and activities ensuring residents are informed and engaged
  • Address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally ensuring that problems are resolved quickly and to the satisfaction of residents and their families
  • Assist with security procedures including monitoring guest and visitor access maintaining a safe environment and reporting any concerns to management
