Job Description
Gallaher Signature Living is a distinguished senior living company dedicated to redefining the experience of aging with compassion, elegance, and excellence. With a focus on creating personalized, enriching environments, Gallaher Signature Living offers a boutique living experience designed to foster meaningful connections and improve quality of life. The company operates multiple residential communities across California, including locations in Santa Rosa, Alameda, Moorpark, and Covina. Their communities provide a range of living options such as Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care, aiming to support active adults in thoughtfully designed settings that prioritize dignity, independence, and personalized care. The company’s mission is deeply rooted in exceptional hospitality, focusing on creating welcoming environments where residents, families, and guests feel valued and supported.
The role of Concierge at Gallaher Signature Living is pivotal as the community's front-of-house ambassador. This position is non-clinical and central to delivering a smooth, personalized, and welcoming atmosphere that aligns with the company’s commitment to exceptional hospitality and resident satisfaction. The Concierge sets the tone for residents and visitors by greeting them with warmth, professionalism, and respect. Operating under California Title 22 regulations applicable to Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE) and Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRC) policies, the Concierge upholds resident safety, privacy, and communication standards without providing personal care services.
Scheduled for Thursdays and Fridays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, this part-time position offers a competitive salary range of $19.00 to $22.00 per hour. Key responsibilities include managing front desk operations, responding to resident inquiries, maintaining visitor logs, monitoring building access, and supporting emergency preparedness initiatives. The role requires a professional demeanor combined with the ability to remain calm under pressure, ensuring a secure and supportive environment for all residents. The Concierge also acts as a mandated reporter, diligently observing and reporting any signs of abuse, neglect, or exploitation following legal and community protocols.
This position requires basic computer and documentation skills, the ability to communicate effectively with older adults and their families, and a compassionate, patient approach to handling sensitive situations. Preferred candidates will have experience in senior living or regulated environments, bilingual skills, and a commitment to upholding the community’s mission and values. Gallaher Signature Living values employees who are organized, reliable, and detail-oriented with a strong service orientation.
In addition to a supportive work environment, employees at Gallaher Signature Living enjoy extensive training, opportunities for career advancement, and comprehensive benefits for full-time team members. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, and complimentary meals. Gallaher Signature Living prides itself on its inclusive and equitable workplace culture, ensuring that hiring practices are merit-based and free from unlawful discrimination. By joining this team, employees become part of a forward-thinking organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors while fostering professional growth and community impact.
