The Concierge role at First Hospitality is a vital position responsible for enhancing the guest experience by providing personalized services and assistance. This role involves interacting with guests, patrons, tenants, or employees to facilitate their stay and ensure maximum satisfaction. Key responsibilities include making dinner and tour reservations, offering recommendations for local events, attractions, shopping, nightlife, and recreational opportunities, as well as arranging transportation and special experiences. The Concierge acts as a resourceful guide, helping guests acquire tickets for special events or secure reservations at dining, recreational, or spa venues. Additionally, this role involves running errands, handling mail and luggage, providing business-related services such as shipping and printing, and accommodating unique requests including adventure activities and hard-to-find items. The Concierge also plays a critical role in developing and maintaining service relationships to meet the evolving needs of clients. The position requires excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a positive attitude of flexibility and patience. Physical requirements include the ability to sit at a desk for prolonged periods and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds. Job Requirements

  • At least two years of hotel guest services experience highly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Must have a positive attitude with the ability to remain flexible and patient
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

Job Duties

  • Provide information regarding area, including directions, attractions, shopping, nightlife, or recreational opportunities
  • Arrange sightseeing and other tours
  • Acquire tickets to special events or make reservations for clients at a variety of venues, including for dinner, recreation times (e.g., golf or tennis), or spa treatments
  • Run appropriate errands for guests and pick up or deliver a variety of items
  • Provide a variety of business services such as shipping packages and assisting with printing needs
  • Receive, store, and/or deliver mail and luggage
  • Acquire daily care items such as toiletries, for guests and patrons
  • Plan and schedule special events, parties, or meetings
  • Fulfill unusual requests such as arranging adventure experiences such as hot air balloon rides, coordinating special moments for guests, and searching for hard-to-find items
  • Arrange for interpreters or translators when needed
  • Develop and maintains service relationships to fulfill the needs of patrons, customers, guests, or employees
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
