Job Requirements

  • Proven ability to follow through and be detail oriented
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Familiarity with local attractions and vendors preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Proficiency in English
  • Hospitality experience preferred
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions
  • Physical ability to perform job duties including sitting, standing, lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to use computer and calculator
  • Ability to see and hear in emergency situations
  • May be required to pass a functional capacity test

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, general education degree, related field or international equivalent preferred
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficiency in English, additional languages preferred
  • Proven hospitality experience preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with local attractions and vendors a plus
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Strong reasoning and problem-solving ability

Job Duties

  • Answer inquiries about resort activities and local events
  • Offer suggestions and provide descriptive literature for tours and entertainment
  • Discuss accommodations, routes, and rates with guests and make reservations
  • Arrange baggage handling, shipping services, and special requests such as babysitting and flower arrangements
  • Respond to guest communications including phone calls, mail, and faxes
  • Develop strong knowledge of resort and local area activities
  • Maintain consistent communication with Front Desk and other departments
  • Cross-train to perform Front Desk Clerk duties when needed
