Job Requirements

Proven ability to follow through and be detail oriented
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to work under pressure
Familiarity with local attractions and vendors preferred
Effective verbal and written communication
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Proficiency in English
Hospitality experience preferred
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions
Physical ability to perform job duties including sitting, standing, lifting up to 25 pounds
Ability to use computer and calculator
Ability to see and hear in emergency situations
May be required to pass a functional capacity test

Job Qualifications

High school diploma, general education degree, related field or international equivalent preferred
Exceptional customer service skills
Proficiency in English, additional languages preferred
Proven hospitality experience preferred
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with local attractions and vendors a plus
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
Strong reasoning and problem-solving ability

Job Duties

Answer inquiries about resort activities and local events
Offer suggestions and provide descriptive literature for tours and entertainment
Discuss accommodations, routes, and rates with guests and make reservations
Arrange baggage handling, shipping services, and special requests such as babysitting and flower arrangements
Respond to guest communications including phone calls, mail, and faxes
Develop strong knowledge of resort and local area activities
Maintain consistent communication with Front Desk and other departments
Cross-train to perform Front Desk Clerk duties when needed
