The Sheraton Raleigh Hotel, part of this prestigious portfolio, is currently seeking a Concierge to join their team on a part-time schedule with a PM shift. This position is pivotal in shaping guest experiences by providing outstanding service, anticipating needs, and exceeding expectations consistently. The Concierge acts as a knowledgeable guide to guests, assisting with various requests including making reservations, offering detailed information about hotel amenities and the local area, arranging transportation, and handling any issues that arise during a guest’s stay.

In this role, the successful candidate will cultivate extensive knowledge of the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel’s facilities and the surrounding neighborhood to ensure guests receive accurate, helpful, and thoughtful recommendations. With an outgoing and friendly personality, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality, the Concierge must be adept at problem-solving and adapting to different situations with a positive, can-do attitude. The role necessitates physical stamina since it involves standing and walking for long periods and occasionally lifting items up to 10 pounds.

More than just a service position, the Concierge is an ambassador of the hotel’s brand, maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the high standards of White Lodging. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift at least 10 pounds regularly
  • availability to work the PM shift

Job Duties

  • Provide the highest quality of service to the guest, anticipating and exceeding their expectations
  • assist guests with any special requests including reservations, hotel information, and arranging transportation
  • develop a thorough knowledge of hotel services and surroundings, the local area, and nearby travel services
  • accurately answer any guest questions and provide thoughtful recommendations
  • help to resolve any guest complaints or concerns that come your way
  • assist guests with food and beverage needs while in the concierge lounge and clean the lounge as needed
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • be an ambassador of our establishment by maintaining a neat and professional personal appearance
  • perform other duties as assigned
