Job Description
Stein Eriksen Lodge is an authentic European lodge situated mid-mountain at the renowned Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah. Named after the legendary Norwegian Olympic Gold Medalist skier Stein Eriksen, the Lodge has earned a reputation as a premier year-round destination offering unparalleled luxury, comfort, and world-class amenities. Established as an iconic brand within the hospitality industry, Stein Eriksen Lodge is part of the larger Stein Collection, which also includes Stein Eriksen Residences, The Chateaux Deer Valley, and The Chateaux Residences. Together, these properties create legendary experiences for guests and team members alike, emphasizing commitment, respect, and exceptional service.
At Stein Collection, the company culture is deeply rooted in teamwork, mutual respect, and community involvement. The organization operates with hundreds of hard-working, diverse, and dedicated team members throughout the year. Impressively, more than 70 employees have remained with the company for over a decade, reflecting the positive and respectful work environment sustained by the leadership and staff. Located in the vibrant and community-oriented town of Park City, the company is keen on supporting and participating in local initiatives, thereby strengthening its relationship with the town and contributing positively to the regional atmosphere.
The role of Concierge at Stein Eriksen Lodge is vital to maintaining the high standards of guest services and providing memorable experiences for all visitors. This position requires an individual who can effectively serve as a hotel guest liaison, ensuring all guest requests are addressed promptly and satisfactorily. The Concierge must be well-versed in the local area, acting as an information agent for guests who seek recommendations about activities, dining, and events in Park City and its surroundings. This role demands patience, tact, and resourcefulness to meet the multitude of diverse and sometimes complex demands from guests.
Concierges are the face of the lodge for many guests, responsible for making each stay as enjoyable as possible. This includes welcoming guests warmly, managing any complaints with seriousness and professionalism, and assisting with dining reservations and local activity arrangements. Effective communication and coordination with all hotel departments is essential to ensuring seamless service delivery. The Concierge must also maintain detailed log books that provide informative records conducive to exceptional guest service.
This position requires a friendly and professional demeanor, not only with guests but also with fellow employees, helping to foster a cooperative and supportive work environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to recognizing returning guests and property owners with appropriate acknowledgments further enhance the guest experience. Physically, the role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, reflecting the dynamic nature of interaction inherent to hospitality work.
Overall, this is a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about luxury hospitality and dedicated to creating unforgettable moments for guests. The role comes with competitive wages, comprehensive benefits, and an inclusive work culture dedicated to employee well-being and professional growth. Those joining Stein Eriksen Lodge become part of a prestigious legacy in one of North America’s most beautiful resort destinations, combining a picturesque mountain environment with top-tier service standards.
