The Concierge role at AMLI River North is a key position devoted to delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced urban luxury residential setting. This full-time position involves 40 hours per week on a Tuesday through Saturday schedule. The Concierge serves as the primary point of contact for residents and guests, offering a broad range of personalized services to support their day-to-day needs. Responsibilities include assisting with scheduling and coordinating diverse resident services such as grocery deliveries, vehicle maintenance, dry cleaning, home technology installations, and transportation accommodations. Beyond these duties, the Concierge manages amenity and penthouse reservations, coordinates package deliveries using systems like Luxer, and develops daily resident communications like newsletters. This role requires strong organizational skills, expert knowledge of local vendors and attractions, and the ability to build meaningful rapport with community members. The position demands maintaining a professional demeanor and appearance at all times while actively participating in AMLI volunteer and community programs. Working closely with onsite property management, the Concierge upholds the premium living standards that AMLI River North is known for, ensuring an exceptional resident experience from move-in to everyday living.

This role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $27.00 to $30.00, complemented by comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and their families. Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 3 years of customer service experience
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
  • Occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds or more
  • Ability to use standard office equipment and computer systems

Job Qualifications

  • Previous concierge or hospitality experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the local area, services, merchants, and attractions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet research
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Build rapport with residents and respond to requests in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner
  • Research, coordinate, and schedule resident services including grocery delivery, vehicle services, dry cleaning pickup and delivery, TV setup and home services, and transportation accommodations
  • Make reservations and arrangements for restaurants, events, game tickets, floral orders, and vet or travel accommodations
  • Manage amenity and penthouse reservations
  • Receive and coordinate package deliveries including using the Luxer package system and conducting daily audits
  • Develop and distribute a daily resident newsletter
  • Maintain up-to-date merchant, vendor, and service contact lists
  • Coordinate with the onsite property management team to resolve requests and follow up on issues
  • Assist with special resident requests as needed
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times
  • Participate in AMLI volunteer and community activities
  • Support other AMLI communities when needed
