Job Description
Oxford Enhanced Senior Living and Healthcare Center is a distinguished 134-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care facility committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to its residents. Nestled in a thoughtfully designed environment with beautiful common spaces, the facility fosters a welcoming, home-like atmosphere not only for its residents but also for its dedicated staff. The organization prides itself on creating a positive and supportive workplace where every employee feels valued, respected, and empowered. At Oxford Enhanced Senior Living, the core mission is to enhance the well-being of its residents through personalized care and attention, coupled with fostering an environment that embraces inclusivity and mutual respect. The culture promotes professional development and work-life balance, recognizing the importance of staff engagement in delivering excellent healthcare services.
Joining Oxford Enhanced Senior Living as a Concierge presents an exceptional opportunity to become an integral part of this vibrant community. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, with shifts available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 12 a.m., ensuring that the concierge functions seamlessly throughout the day. The position offers same-day pay with a competitive wage of $16 to $18 per hour, making it an attractive role for individuals seeking both stability and rewarding work. The Concierge is a pivotal point of contact for residents, families, and visitors, embodying the facility's commitment to hospitality and care. Responsibilities include managing all incoming calls professionally and courteously, providing accurate information and directions, and offering assistance to residents, staff, guests, and vendors. Additionally, the Concierge performs various clerical duties that support the smooth operation of the facility. This role demands a warm and approachable demeanor to greet and assist potential residents, families, and visitors, making each interaction a positive experience.
Working as a Concierge at Oxford Enhanced Senior Living also means embracing the facility’s ethos of respect and dignity for all. The team values strong communication skills, customer service excellence, and the ability to effectively handle multiple demands simultaneously. The Concierge plays a vital role in maintaining seamless communication across departments by managing internal and external calls and ensuring timely message relays. Prospective candidates are encouraged to possess an active CNA license in Pennsylvania, though this is strongly preferred rather than mandatory, reflecting the healthcare-centric nature of the environment. Previous experience in customer service and healthcare settings is essential to thrive in this role. The facility supports continuous learning and growth, providing employees access to resources and a culture that encourages initiative and problem-solving.
Overall, this role is ideal for individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors and their families, offering a dynamic work environment where compassion meets professionalism. At Oxford Enhanced Senior Living, you will be welcomed into a team where your contributions genuinely matter, and your career can flourish in a supportive and enriching setting.
