The Concierge role at VHRC is an integral part of this supportive environment. This full-time position, which includes weekend shifts, is perfect for an energetic and personable team player who excels at customer service and administrative assistance. As a Concierge, you will be the welcoming presence for visitors, guests, vendors, and residents, providing courteous and efficient assistance while managing communication channels such as telephone calls and messages. Your role will also include administrative duties like filing, managing office supplies, and maintaining equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and postage meters. Additionally, you will assist in organizing transportation and other concierge services, ensuring smooth and seamless experiences for residents and visitors alike. This position requires someone who is organized, friendly, and dedicated to enhancing the quality of life within the community. Your contribution will help uphold VHRC’s mission of delivering excellence in care and service, while promoting a warm and inclusive atmosphere for everyone on campus.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work full-time including weekends

  • ability to handle multiple tasks under minimal supervision
  • customer service experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Answering and routing incoming telephone calls
  • taking and delivering messages in a timely fashion
  • greeting and assisting visitors, guests, vendors, and residents in a courteous and helpful manner
  • assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, ordering office supplies, maintaining fax machine, copier, and postage meter
  • assisting with the coordination of transportation and concierge services
