The Concierge role at Woodland Grove is vital to ensuring that residents, their families, and visitors feel welcomed and well cared for from the moment they arrive. Serving as the first point of contact, the Concierge is responsible for creating a warm, professional, and helpful environment that enhances resident satisfaction and comfort. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining composure under pressure. The Concierge works closely with clinical and support staff to coordinate services, respond to resident requests, and support smooth daily operations.

The Concierge’s responsibilities include greeting and assisting residents, families, and guests; coordinating non-clinical services such as transportation, dining reservations, and event sign-ups; maintaining cleanliness and order in the lobby or front desk area; answering and directing phone calls; supporting new resident orientation and transitions; handling resident concerns with sensitivity and professionalism; maintaining accurate logs and documentation; and assisting with administrative and scheduling tasks. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for customer service and elderly care who want to make a meaningful difference in a health care setting. The position is ideal for candidates who are CNA certified, have previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or senior care, and possess excellent communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor.

Job Duties

  • Greet and assist residents, families, and guests in a courteous and professional manner
  • Coordinate non-clinical resident services such as transportation, dining reservations, event sign-ups, and personal requests

  • Answer phones and direct calls appropriately
  • Support new resident orientation and transition
  • Handle resident requests and concerns, escalating when necessary
