We are currently seeking a caring and dedicated part-time Concierge to join our team. This role plays a vital part in enhancing the day-to-day experience of residents and their families by providing exceptional front desk services and support throughout the community. The Concierge serves as the welcoming face of GenCare Lifestyle @ Pt. Ruston, greeting visitors, managing communications via a multi-line phone system, and assisting with various clerical responsibilities. This position requires a professional, mature individual with a cheerful personality who can multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Concierge will also perform light housekeeping duties to maintain the cleanliness and ambiance of the main common areas, such as dusting and vacuuming.

Key responsibilities include operating the telephone system to direct calls, greeting and directing families and visitors, assisting department managers with operational needs, and problem-solving to meet the needs of residents and their families. Building strong relationships with residents and their families is essential, as is ensuring resident safety and maintaining confidentiality at all times. Previous front desk experience is necessary, and experience working with seniors is highly valued. This role requires excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

GenCare Lifestyle @ Pt. Ruston offers competitive part-time benefits including paid sick time accrued at one hour for every forty hours worked (with a rollover maximum of 56 hours), eligibility for a 401K plan with up to a 4% employer match after one year, access to the First Choice Health Employee Assistance Program, quarterly raises for hourly employees, free continuing education units (CEUs), annual license reimbursement for LPNs and CNAs, and a free meal during work shifts.
