Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office and related applications
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and community policies
  • Must be available Wednesday to Friday and weekends as needed
  • Ability to participate in required training and compliance programs
  • Successful completion of background check, drug test, tuberculosis test, and physical evaluation
  • COVID-19 and influenza vaccination as required by law

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proven customer service experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Accurate record-keeping abilities

  • Experience in senior living or healthcare settings preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents
  • Extend a warm welcome and greeting
  • Offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests
  • Ensure community safety protocols are in place
  • Contact Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator for prospective residents and visitors
  • Greet potential employment candidates and direct them to apply online or input information into the Applicant Tracking System
  • Answer incoming telephone calls within two to three rings with appropriate greetings
  • Take complete and accurate messages and communicate them to intended recipients
  • Provide community overviews to callers and forward calls appropriately
  • Manage appointments for residents and family members
  • Send get well and sympathy cards as needed
  • Order flowers and name plates for new residents
  • Maintain neat and organized front desk and entry areas
  • Monitor and stock the Bistro area including refreshments and snacks
  • Ensure music is playing throughout the day
  • Adhere to safety and risk management policies and procedures
  • Maintain resident and team member rosters and schedules for emergency purposes
  • Monitor and maintain sign-in/out logs for guests and residents
  • Update telephone and resident rosters daily
  • Prepare and tally meal tickets and collect meal ticket money
  • Organize and distribute mail and newspapers
  • Assist with recruitment data entry and administrative duties
  • Monitor and order office supplies
  • Track and disperse team member paychecks
  • Participate in team meetings and training
  • Comply with all company policies and perform additional duties as assigned
