The Concierge role at The Ivy Thornton is fundamental to ensuring residents, their families, guests, and visitors receive exceptional service. The concierge acts as the face of the community by greeting visitors warmly, fulfilling resident requests promptly, and arranging tours of the property to showcase the beautiful campus and amenities. This role involves managing multi-line telephone systems, delivering clerical support to administrative staff, and coordinating communication effectively across the community. Responsibility also includes monitoring the Emergency Alert System and responding immediately to calls, managing the business center operations including incoming and outgoing mail, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and visitors in compliance with established safety standards. The concierge is expected to promote teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments, contributing to the harmonious, supportive culture that Oakmont fosters.
This position offers a pay range of 19 to 20 dollars per hour, with a variety of shifts, times, and days available to accommodate the schedules of diverse candidates. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prefer two (2) years of experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
- For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines

Job Duties
- Provide all residents, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service
- Answer telephones, record, and/or direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely, clear, concise, and professional manner
- Monitor the Emergency Alert System and immediately respond to every call
- Effectively manage business center and process incoming and outgoing mail
