Job Description
The KRE Group, founded in 1979 and headquartered in Jersey City, NJ, is a full-service real estate investment and management company with a significant presence across New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Known for its commitment to excellence, innovation, and superior service, The KRE Group specializes in creating high-quality living environments that foster exceptional resident experiences. With a robust and expanding portfolio, the company has built a strong reputation in the real estate and property management industry, focusing on community engagement and resident satisfaction.
The role of Concierge at The KRE Group is a vital front-line position responsible for enhancing the resident and guest experience through professional and welcoming interactions. As the first point of contact, the Concierge serves as a hospitality ambassador, creating a positive, service-oriented atmosphere while managing front desk operations. This position requires a service-driven professional who excels in customer relations, multitasking, and administrative duties, all while maintaining the highest standards of building presentation and security.
In this role, the Concierge is expected to greet residents, guests, and visitors warmly and professionally, assist with inquiries and service requests, and provide recommendations about local dining, transportation, and amenities to enhance resident satisfaction. The Concierge also manages essential front desk functions such as answering and directing calls, maintaining visitor logs and building documentation, and coordinating communication between residents and property management, maintenance, and leasing teams.
Additionally, the Concierge oversees the receiving, logging, and distribution of packages, ensuring a secure and organized package room and timely notification to residents. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the lobby and common areas is crucial, along with monitoring for any maintenance or housekeeping concerns and supporting resident events and community engagement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of customer service, hospitality, or front desk experience, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrate a polished, service-oriented demeanor. Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential. Comfort with basic office equipment and computer systems, along with a team-player attitude and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, are also important.
Physical requirements for the role include the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, move throughout the property, and occasionally lift packages up to 25-30 pounds. Working at The KRE Group offers the chance to be part of a dynamic and growing real estate organization that values service, professionalism, and community involvement. There are opportunities for career growth within this well-established property management company.
The KRE Group conducts background checks and motor vehicle record checks, if applicable, as part of the employment process and is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
