Our facility is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to elderly residents. We are currently seeking a full-time Concierge to join our Administration and Guest Services department, reporting to the Administrator or their designee. This role is pivotal in creating a positive first impression for residents, families, visitors, and vendors. The Concierge will act as the welcoming face of our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, blending professionalism with warmth and compassion. The position requires someone who can assist with non-clinical needs and enhance the overall resident and family experience. The Concierge will be responsible for customer service, communication, and coordination within the facility to ensure smooth operations and a supportive atmosphere.
The ideal candidate will greet residents, families, visitors, and guests in a courteous and professional manner, serving as the primary contact point for general inquiries and facility information. This role involves coordinating visitation logistics and ensuring compliance with facility policies to maintain a safe environment. The Concierge will support admissions, discharges, and tours by welcoming new residents and families and assisting as directed. Effective communication of resident or visitor concerns to appropriate departments is essential to maintaining high standards of care and satisfaction.
In addition to these responsibilities, the Concierge will monitor lobby and common areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and hospitality. They will work closely with nursing, social services, activities, and administrative teams to promote resident satisfaction and uphold resident rights, dignity, and confidentiality at all times. Compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility privacy policies is mandatory. This position requires a compassionate individual with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Basic computer skills, including email, phone systems, and scheduling software, are necessary to fulfill the role effectively. The working hours for this full-time position are 9 am to 5 pm, providing a consistent schedule for the Concierge role.
