The role of the Receptionist at The Waterford at Round Rock is central to the smooth operation and welcoming atmosphere of this respected senior living community. The Receptionist serves as the primary point of contact for residents, visitors, and staff, managing communications and ensuring that everyone who enters the community feels valued and attended to from the moment they arrive. This position requires an individual who is not only organized and efficient but also embodies warmth and genuine care in their interactions. Key responsibilities include answering telephone calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel, greeting and guiding visitors, sorting and distributing mail, coordinating express mail pickups and deliveries, and resolving any customer questions or concerns promptly and courteously.

This role is integral in maintaining effective communication channels within the community as well as enhancing the overall resident and visitor experience. Job Duties

  • answers telephone and directs the caller to the appropriate individual
  • provides information such as community address, directions to the community location, community fax numbers, company website, and other related information
  • greets and directs visitors to the community
  • receives, sorts, and forwards incoming mail
  • coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
  • resolves customer questions and concerns
