Job Duties

  • Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome
  • Use clear and understandable speaking voice
  • Respond to inquiries with accurate information about outlet operations, local attractions, and services
  • Promptly answer telephone calls using positive and clear English communication
  • Record and retrieve messages and communicate content to guests
  • Retrieve mail, small packages, and facsimiles for customers as requested
  • Arrange and confirm recreation, business, and dining activities inside and outside the hotel
  • Respond promptly to requests for services such as dentists, doctors, childcare, florists
  • Distribute printed materials such as brochures of local attractions or hotel information
  • Organize, set-up, and monitor food and beverage program in Concierge Lounge
  • Assist guests with food and beverage service including serving and cleanup
  • Handle guest complaints with thorough research to develop effective solutions
  • Listen and assist in resolving problems such as price conflicts or environmental issues
  • Remain calm and alert during emergency situations and heavy hotel activity
  • Plan and implement detailed steps using expert judgment and discretion
