The role of Concierge at Provincial Senior Living is a pivotal position that involves welcoming residents, guests, and employees, managing telephone communication effectively, and providing general information. This position supports the smooth operation of the community by managing messages, handling mail distribution, updating resident directories and logs, and assisting with scheduling appointments such as transportation and hairdresser services. The Concierge is responsible for maintaining a neat and organized reception area, ensuring residents and visitors have a pleasant experience from the moment they enter the community.
This position requires excellent customer service skills and the capability to multitask in a dynamic environment. The Concierge also supports meal service needs, helps with activities, assists in housekeeping tasks, and performs other administrative duties as necessary. As a part-time or on-call role, it offers flexibility while playing a critical role in sustaining the high standards of hospitality that Provincial Senior Living is known for. The part-time shift specifically includes Tuesdays from 8 AM to 4:30 PM but may include additional responsibilities as required.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- One to three years customer service experience and/or training
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and communication
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Professional and courteous phone etiquette
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to maintain organized work area
- Flexibility to work on-call and part-time hours
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- One to three years customer service experience and/or training
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Job Duties
- Carries out telephone answering and reception duties as required
- Takes complete messages with pertinent information and communicates messages to the intended recipient
- Greets residents and visitors
- Answers inquiries and gives directions
- Collates brochures for the marketing department
- Prepares meal tickets for team members and family members, tallies meal count sheets for the Dining staff
- Updates the Resident Phone List and Roster and Move-In and Move-Out Register daily
- Manages appointments for residents and family members such as but not limited to hairdresser, transportation, etc.
- Maintains and keeps desk and entry area neat and organized
- Organizes, distributes mail to residents, Executive Director and Department Coordinators
- Maintains resident forms for miscellaneous credits
- Maintains adherence to all company personnel policies and established operating policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
